3.1 miles walked yesterday (Wednesday) and 3.4 miles today. UGH Index a solid 8 today, 9 yesterday. For all the predictions of a rained-out week, it has not materialized. Sure, it's rained, but lots and lots of time just fine for walking.

Of course, as I'm typing this, it's beginning to rain!

As expected, my weight has moved about a half-pound, or less, into the 158's, but it's no worry. If it's still there at weigh-in, I'll record the "gain."

Sandy - very glad you got your walk in before it started to rain. Yes, we know the scale will go up and down, but I have a feeling that won't be much of a problem for you - you'll still weigh 5 lbs. less than me forever.

Funny you should mention maintenance! I have been thinking about that, what will change? What should change? Should anything change? I have this idea that our weight should eventually just level out to the weight we eat for. I have to admit, I read about that part, but I didn't concentrate on it. It is really hard not to let the scale get the better of us, darn thing can be soooo fickle! Did you get your walking in without getting wet? Hope so, have a great Friday!

Hi GG. Yup, got the walk in without getting drizzled on. I suspect the scale and I will still have to be best buds in Maintenance. And, as far as food is concerned, I "think" I'll be able to add in a few more foods in very small quantities, still staying low carb, of course. THAT part stays forever. But, for me, the peanuts could come back and perhaps, occasionally, some other items with sugar alcohols. But, in general, there's not a big change. Like you, I read that section but didn't need to concentrate on it at that time. Hey, aren't you close to the Pre-Maintenance phase?
