The UGH Index is back, probably a solid 8 this AM when the dogs and I went out walking. Lab gal went .8 miles, Collie guy went 1.5 and I went 3.2 miles.
I warmed up the pool before we left, so I was able to enjoy a nice dip when I returned. Now that dreaded last half of the kitchen cabinet and baseboard cleaning is awaiting me. Yuck, yuck, yuck. I think this is when I'd normally go munch on food; anything to keep me from having to do a dreaded task. So....I can make a deal with myself that once I get half-done, or maybe at a specific time, I can make up my strawberry smoothie, sit and relax, before finishing this dreaded task.
Well, they're not going to clean themselves, so I might as well get started. (grumble, grumble)

Sandy - Someone should invent removable baseboards. Better yet, ones that can be thrown into the dishwasher. Will tackle mine this fall.

Ooooo, I LIKE that idea!! In fact, one could even go disposable, although it's not as environmentally responsible as putting them in the dishwasher... (Note to self...get OFF the computer and get going!!!)

LOL - baseboards...HOW do they get so darn dirty anyway? I like the dishwasher idea, maybe a little velcro? Interesting...Hey, maybe you guys have just stumbled on the invention of the century, your ticket to millions! Meanwhile...back to work!

GG....these are especially irksome because they are painted and underneath the cabinet fronts. When you stand close, you don't see them, but as you enter the area, you can see them all splattered and dirty. Eventually, prior to selling in acouple years, we'll give them a fresh coat of paint. In the midst of this task, it began to storm, so I had 2 furballs trying to get underneath my arms, trying to get as close as possible as I knelt on the floor and one even sat up next to the freshly washed, but wet, cabinet door, leaving a nice cover of dog hair on it! AAARRRRGGGGHHHH! Calgon, take me away!!

LOL I know what you mean...but never fear the task isn't going any where...it will be there waiting on ya for sure...I really like the
