Truly excited about the progress. Mindful movement and mindful eating has been so good for me. I'm on the computer, watching TV, and working on games/math so much that I am becoming mindful of how much I collapse into myself. It has compromised the support of my core over these last several years. I'm trying to sit with feet on the floor and with raised rib cage, shoulders back. What a difference it makes but I so easily fall right back into that chair slouch.
I do the warmups, the stepping body work out for seniors, the core blaster for 10 minutes and a delicate stretch. All are easy. I still do osteo exercises and some foot fracture exercises, too.
Eating is good for me, but frustrating for me to prepare my husband's food needs. I am learning to stick to mine. I can't ask him to move anymore that he does because he won't do it. Making me the focus of my own health is the only way I am going to succeed in my goals. As for my husband, he is eating less calories than he was before. He is also eating smaller portions. I slip vegetable particulates in his salads, main meals, and even in his smoothies when he asks for them. He is getting more active. His digestive issues are improving some. It is a little measurable. He has lived a sedentary life for two decades, just getting up to fix something here and there, to go to the restroom, or to an appointment. I am hopeful.
