I love love love LCHF and when asked, I have no problem letting people know what has worked for me BUT I also understand it is not for everyone. Having tried just about every "plan" out there I can truly say the one that will work is the one you can live with for a long period of time. I have lost probably thousands of pounds in my lifetime. Lots of things have worked in the short term. For me, it's not just is it working but also, how is my quality of life, am I fighting with myself every day to "work" the plan, am I miserable unhappy cranky hungry? I have a friend who has been in Weight Watchers for years, at goal weight, and she loves it. She found HER happy place, wasn't for me. Another did Jenny Craig and has kept the weight off, happy for her, wasn't for me. Low cal diet, REALLY wasn't for me. So, I guess my point is if someone asks me what I have done to lose the weight, I tell them. If they want to try it I point them to lots of sites online and tell them to research LCHF and give it a try if they think it's for them. I think it's important to "be flexible and keep an open mind about" everyone's plan, period!
