Eating boiled egg middle of night because I couldn’t sleep from my hunger.

Couldn’t sleep in first night also.

I hope you have done your homework on IF. It is different for women than men. I’m not a fan

A teaspoon of acv in 16oz water and maybe a pinch of salt should cure your hunger, if not maybe a 15 minute yin practice… cold shower?

I didn’t sleep my first night of ADF on IF either. The hunger gets better quickly! I’ve don’t lots of homework on it and am a firm believer in IF. And I am a woman. Good luck to you!

The first week or two of IF especially 20:4 is really hard. Afterwards the body adjusts and the hunger goes away or at least it's vague rather then gnawing.

Kenna, I didn't know that there was a difference between men and women IF >< I feel silly now. I guess in most health there's a difference between men and women will just never really occur to me 🤷. I found that I technically follow the intermittent fasting regimen but not because I'm trying to just because I kind of fall into it naturally because of my schedule. Now I have a new thing to read about fun times. 😊

I do 16/8. Love it. Has cured my hunger and allowed me to drop fat quickly. Menstruating women shouldn't fast the week before period and should limit fasting for 2 weeks after period to 15/9 or 16/8 to prevent damage to hormones. Menapuase women can fast same men. Dr Mindy Pelz on youtube is a good resource.

outerlimit, I'll check it out here soon when I'm listening to things while cleaning. I'll have an issue with the not fasting before ones. Not because I'm being obstinate because I'm not doing it on purpose I mainly eat when I'm working or I'm very active so if I'm not active I'm not eating. Which is why on work days I eat quite a bit and on work days I eat almost nothing. I'm not being that way on purpose it's just that I don't feel hungry unless I'm active physically active specifically if I was a watching a movie or playing a game I don't feel an interest or desire to eat. But if I'm moving my body demands food so therefore I supply it with nutritious foods to eat. My schedule is typically more vigorous in the early morning the afternoon and I do more cleaning tax in the evening which are more sedate so most of my eating happens in the middle of the day in his clumped into one small time. Because of my schedule. Work is very demanding so I have a hard time getting a moment to eat food so I don't get to eat early in the morning so I have to delay it until I can do enough tasks that I have a buffer to be able to eat any quickly. I have been prioritizing my meal breaks with more emphasis to improve health and to meet nutritional guidelines more effectively. And that's how I fell into intermittent fasting not intentionally not by any particular desire honestly I'd never even realized that I had been fasting until I was reading about it one day and just thought huh I guess technically I do this. There's a few different eating things that I do by default unintentionally in this way not with any desire or intention just because I happen to fall into the category and I've read something about it and been like oh I fit that category.
