I started a strict 21 day diet to remove sugar from my diet. I am diabetic, so thought this may be the way to begin to change the way I eat permanently. Sugar is so addictive, so the cold turkey approach may help me to change my ways. Began February 8 and I am 10 pounds down. I eat only meat, vegies, eggs, cheese. No pasta, bread, rice, grain, root vegetable or sugar. I never realized how much sugar is in everything! Read a label, any label and be prepared to put whatever it it is down and turn away! Lol
I will be happy when the 21 days are up, but I am a little afraid of adding in anything for fear of gaining the 10 pounds back.

Do it in increments maybe. I find that the longer I stay away from sugar the less I miss it
