Was at pharmacy yesterday and the pharmacist (of at least 10 years) is a lovely Vietnamese woman who goes by an American name but i always use her Vietnamese name (Minh Chou) which always makes her smile. Anyway, i was picking up bacitracin for head wound and she said she wanted to talk to me. She was very worried about how thin i had become and wondered if that was why i lost consciousness last week😂. I assured her i have weighed about the same for roughly last 5 months and am not losing anymore weight. I told her i was 135 pounds I wasn’t in starvation mode. I dont think she believed me. She was very concerned. That’s a new one. She has only ever seen me overweight didnt know that i was roughly this size most of my life.

I think it is very nice that she thinks enough of you to worry about your well-being. Some people who lose weight in a short period of time are ill so I assume she was worried about the cause. I think 135 pounds is a great weight. Now that she knows you did this for your health she can stop worrying.

Morticia she is very sweet. Earlier this year she pulled me aside and said she didnt realize i was THIS old and that I MUST get the pneumonia and shingles and flu vaccines. Last year post surgery she called me at home very concerned with how quickly i was going thru Valium and worried i was going to overdose. Which, in all honesty, i had lost consciousness then as well and landed face first and was in immense pain less than 10 days post op so i was going thru it early fast trying to just sleep thru the worst of it. She’s right. . I could have died. I was taking it and forgetting i had taken it and taking it again. I went thru 30 pills in 24 hours. I dont use drugs so i have no built up tolerance. I feel very fortunate that nothing bad happened and also that she genuinely cares about me.
