New shoes today... started out optimistic, and felt pretty good. I intended to only walk about half an hour at a slower pace so I could break the shoes in, but felt so good after 15 minutes I thought I might be able to carry on the full 3 miles. ...Then came the next 15 minutes. Suddenly my calves and feet were in full revolt, and they didn't feel good about the shoes at all. I turned around and hobbled back home. Left the new shoes on and mowed the lawn.
