Hello - I am not an expert at all, but I try to focus on certain groups (and google fun exercises at gym) For example: Day 1 Arms, Day 2 Cardio with back and shoulders, Day 3 Legs and abs, Day 4 All cardio of my choosing. On days not cardio heavy I try to do at least 10 min warm up cardio on treadmill or something. Hope that helps. :) I try to change it up cause I get bored easily.

Awesome work! What I’ve heard from some weight lifters is to find a routine and stick with it for awhile without changing it constantly.

@lisa I lift three days a week, for 30 mins, alternating between lower and upper half. I follow it with 10 min of cardio. The other days I do pilates, yoga, or HIIT.

I would suggest doing full body compound exercises if you only have 3 days a week and 30 minutes a day to put into it.

Look up Muscle & Strength website. They have a ton of nice weight lifting routines. They are all different depending on what you want and your time. Maybe look up "Muscle & Strength’s 12 Week Women’s Workout Program" to see one of them.

Also, you can use an app to set up your routine & monitor progression. I use Hevy.

As Jen said, there are TONS of YouTube videos to learn from. One of my favorites so far is Michelle Roots.

A trainer would be helpful but if that's not an option look at classes your gym offers. I take bodypump, which is weightlifting to music. Lots of reps. I travel quite a bit so I use utube to look up weightlifting routines. I like Caroline Girvan. You can also go to Pinterest and search weightlifting for women and you'll get tons of ideas Good luck!👍💪

I use the Caliber app for my at home strength training. At its free level (you can upgrade to a paid version with a trainer but I am happy with the free level), it still provides you with a plan for strength training. You can specify what you want to use (machines, dumbbells, resistance bands, body weight) and how much time you have for the training and will adjust for that. It is based on the principle of progressive overload. I
