1 c coffee, milk and sugar

Red River Cereal (or what I like to call bird feed!) mixed with tofu, currants, walnut, a dash of honey and cinnamon.

Ok, if I have more coffee I'll have it decaf and black, sans sugar.
Since I'm menopausal, I've been adding tofu to EVERYTHING, hoping to get some estrogen into my body.

I'm thinking that the love of my life 'coffee w/milk + sugar' is exacerbating my hot flashes. I don't know if it's the sugar or the coffee, or the extremely humid weather, but these days I just get waves of unbearable heat accompanied by a slight feeling of nausea/or headache.

Again, I've got to experiment and keep tract - tomorrow I'll start the days with caffeinated coffee without milk and sugar - for a 4 or 5 days. And see if it makes a difference.

Food tracking.

LUNCH:

Lettuce, half a small can of salmon protein, tofu for the estrogen, green pepper for the vit C, shallots, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms for the zinc, sweet potato for the Vit A, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, + salt. It was a great salad!

SUPPER'

Fried zucchini + onion with two eggs - was a great supper!

Decaf coffee+sugar.

a lot of watermelon during the day.

I hope you feel better soon, no more hot flashes, I never experienced them but I do believe they suck.
