I am tired and I am tired of being tired. I talked with hubby tonight about schedules but don't really feel like I got anywhere. So I will have to take this into my own hands. I am tired of eating/drinking things I don't need to be to get the insta boost to keep going. I also realized this morning that I am dealing with a bout of depression that always hits me this time of year. I don't care for the heat and the long days, I'm a cold weather girl. HOWEVER I am looking at those things as being excuses and what do I need to do to deal with them? I told hubby no more late nights outside working until dark. On the night's I need to stay late at work i will do my walking/jogging in town the other nights I will come home and ride my bike. I don't want to be selfish but I need to be a little bit to take care of me.

Moderation and Balance....they go hand in hand...."almost" two words for the SAME idea...but very difficult to attain....sounds as though you are getting a good handle on HOW you can achieve it....have a blessed weekend :)

You have to take care of yourself and do what feels right! Why are you tired? Are you sleeping poorly? Iron deficient? Need vitamin D? Or, just too busy and too hot? I hope you feel better soon.

@HCB I started taking vitamin D, but really I think I need more of good quality sleep. Sleeping 6 hours a night isn't cutting it for me when I know that ideally I do best at 9 hours.

Being selfish is one of the hardest things to do - we spend so much of our lives looking after everyone else we forget to look after ourselves :( Glad that you recognize this! Funny that you love the cold - I am a warm weather girl (although I live in Canada where it is often too cold for my liking!!) I feel like I finally have time for life when the days get longer! keep going - we are here for you!

I love the cold too! We preferably 55-70 degrees but I love winter. I am have been doing a vitamin D soak while painting radiators that does feel good too hoping I do not burn. Yes I applied sunscreen SPF 50.
