Final!y! A nice day. No rain, no wind. Just a little chilly and a very light breeze. Didn't know what to do with myself after so many days of just staying inside. So I took Bobby for a walk. Then came home and spent a little time walking all around my yard picking up broken sticks and twigs. No branches down and so far no trees have fallen over. The weather is supposed to be nice with no rain until next Monday and Tuesday. Hoping that won't be a big deal, I'm tired of winter!

I'm supposed to drive to Washington next week to visit my niece. I got chains for my car just in case they are needed on I5 north of Yreka and into southern Oregon. Although if chains are required I would probably postpone the trip. I schedule any trips I take around the availability of my house sitter so I'm crossing my fingers the weather is okay.

Hope I do okay with my eating while I am away from home.

Thanks Swayneman and 2melons! So far I've cut the trip in half. Originally I was going to spend 3 or 4 nights on the Oregon coast before going to Washington. Now I just want the chance to spend a few days with my niece and her husband. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to go to the coast later in the year.
