Well, I blew it today.. first off, for lunch I had BBQ wings, figured it would not be too bad, as I had PLANNED to eat light for dinner tonight. Well that changed. We ended up helping some friends load and unload three truck loads of fireworks for the DAV, and went to have Chinese afterwards.

I am not beating myself up too much, as I was rather selective and careful of what I picked out except for the fried shrimp. I did not pig out on anything, and mostly ate veggies. But I will be real strict with myself tomorrow.

I know myself, that if I do not allow myself to have a treat now and then (as long as it is not everyday) I can control and make up for any little gain. So far so good.

I do love this site, as it makes it easy for me to keep track of things, even when I flake out and forget to log in. Also, I am encouraged that I can read up on others successes, as well as how they deal with weaker moments.

I gained three pounds from that chinese feast. Lesson learned there! Now I know I would have done better having a steak and baked potatoe for a splurge! OWW.
