Back from picking up my son at college. Managed to stay on top of my eating until the trip home. Stopped at a fruit stand to buy cherries, strawberries and almonds---OMG they were sooooooo good! BTW--soooo worth the extra carbs! I did not beat myself up this time--just enjoyed, celebrated my son's return and got up today back on track!

Great job! You allowed yourself a special treat and you enjoyed it rather than beating yourself up. I miss fruits, lol.

I didn't realize how much I missed fruit until I started eating the cherries. I could have easily eaten the whole container!!! Its amazing how many you can consume without thinking about it - but now I know how many carbs--so I'll really have to police myself in the future :-)
