Went swimming for the first time this year! The water temp was "only" 81 degrees, but, c'mon, if you've got a pool in FL and it's Memorial Day weekend, ya just gotta get wet!
Actually, it wasn't too bad, once I got completely wet and got moving. There are pockets of colder water because I didn't have the pump running. But my own movements got the water all stirred up so that by the time I finished up, the water was pretty well mixed. It felt great to be back in the water again.
I also was wearing a new swimsuit, as my old ones are too baggy. Last year at this time, I was 216-217 pounds. I didn't go below 200 until mid- to late August, so it definitely feels different being in the 160's.
No walking today, as DH took doggies and then we both went on various errands around town. Might consider today as my day off and take the dogs early tomorrow AM....not sure, as yet.
