Good news: finally connected with the sports physiologist/nutritionist highly recommended by my sister. She believes his program will get me on track to regaining muscle mass. She's really impressed with the results she's gotten with him.

I don't know what happened to his first email. I guess it got lost in the ozone. One hour phone consultation to start. Always good to have a coach in your corner. My sister says he's passionate about keeping up with the latest research.

I'm going to start doing wall slides (planks for your legs) again, which is the most efficient way to strengthen your legs, according to "Age Defying Fitness." This time I will use the Healthy Habit Tracker app to stay on course. Update: did three wall slides, but was only able to hold the position for 30 seconds before my butt slid to the floor.

Speaking of apps, Paprika is a great app for storing recipes with lots of features. Have a recipe for lentil soup will start tonight. Wish I could dedicate a tablet to the kitchen.

Did you get an appointment set up with the health coach? Lentil soup is good there are all kinds though. I bought a laptop partly so I could start recording recipes, didn't follow through, laptop is now dead, need a new one, hopefully I will be better.

In the process of setting up an appointment. Paprika stores your recipes in the cloud so if your device dies, you can still recover them.
