I don't understand why I retain water sometimes and other times don't.
The silicone cake pan arrived. It's too flexible to use as a mold for power bars. 😞 Freezer containers arrived as well. I can now freeze some of the large batches I prepare in the slow cooker. I ordered a five pound bag of lentils as a part of my dried bean pantry stocking program.
The Striiv Smart Pedometer survived a dunking in the toilet, but now gives inaccurate readings. It showed over 1,600 steps this morning for a trip down the hall. I ordered a Withings Pulse activity tracker, mainly because it syncs with older Android devices.
Update: the Pulse arrived.
Relaxation: 30 minute nap.

Foods we eat can cause water weight gain. Retaining it can mean not consuming enough water. Too much Sodium is a big culprit in retains water.

Funny how drinking more water works. Also adding more cardio seems to help me. If I don't move much you can see the water retention lines around the top of my socks.

Water is everything, CC. I always do 96ounces and sometimes more...I forget to log all the water...and protein is King!

I divide body weight in half and drink that much water each day. If I exercise then I add more water to that.

ChrisC, do you set an alarm to wake up from your nap? I've always wanted to take a half hour nap in the afternoon, but never do it, for fear I will sleep two hours and not get all my chores done.

I listen to a half hour podcast. I usually fall asleep in the first five minutes and wake up when it ends.

Happy Thanksgiving Chris, hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow and good job on the walking. I would give anything, almost, if i could go walking again like i used to, I really miss it. I have the same problem with retaining water also, can't figure out why either, nor can my doctors.
