Good morning all! As if I didn't have enough on my hands I decided that I will contract to paint the entire first level of the house. Now that the kitchen is coming together, it forces me to refresh the downstairs area which has not been done in eons! I am planning to pull out the existing baseboard and replace them at the same time. The crown moulding is fine, just to paint over them. Hoping to keep the cost under $2000 for that job .. but will have to see because it involves removing some wallpaper on one of the walls (I've always hated that wallpaper so it's timely). It's funny that when you renovate one part of your house it has a ripple effect on other parts! It echoes what is happening in my WOE. It started with trying to lose some weight, changing the way of eating and triggered me to get more active, taking up YOGA and looking for true balance in my life. All these changes are wonderful and adding a lot of value to my life. It has even revived "things" between hubby and I ('nuff said). Amazing how that works when you start feeling better about yourself you become so much more attractive and desireable. Whooo hooo ... life is good!
