What is Silicone and is it Toxic? - The Soft Landing
Woke up at 5 am and couldn't fall back asleep. Browsed RSS feeds for a couple of hours and got up an hour late. I wonder if the full strength coffee had anything to do with it.
Morning plank and ten minutes first thing in the morning on the Air Walk Trainer to burn off glycogen.
Today is an up day on the Alternate-Day Diet (eat all I want). Still working on food in the freezer.
Cardio: one hour on the Air Walk Trainer plus five minutes every hour to offset the effects of sitting. Steps: 715. Yesterday's 1,753 was my all time record for one day. I didn't set out to establish a record. I was just trying to beat my daily average of 708. I got a strong tailwind from doing cardio earlier to avoid having to do it while I watched "Supernatural" and "The Blacklist."
I keep running across recipes online in the course of trying to eat better. So far, all I've done is bookmark them in Amazon's rudimentary browser, Silk, or save them in Evernote. There aren't that many Fire apps for importing recipes. After trying several, I settled on Paprika. It has a bookmarklet for my Chromebook and an app for Android as well and it syncs recipes to the cloud. I'm going to wait and see if I use the app before getting it for Android. I don't like paying twice, once for the Fire HD and once on Google Play, but it is what it is.
