I have been trying really hard to have a good protein in my breakfast every morning for that last few weeks. I really don't know what happened today but I didn't have time to fix my egg so I missed out. The problem with no protein in the morning? You are hungry more often throughout the day. Going to have to work on that for next week.

I know what you mean. I ate biscuits and gravy I had made from scratch yesterday at 9 am and I wasn't hungry again until 5 that night. They say the less processed food is, the longer it keeps you full. I eat 3 eggs and a piece of toast typically every morning and it is 5 hours before I am hungry again.

3 Egg White omelet. I keep a bag of frozen chopped peppers and onions in the freezer and I use Borden's Fat Free cheese. Just spray the pan with vegetable spray, throw in some of the peppers and onions. When they're defrosted in the pan, pour the egg whites over them and cook as you normally would. Just before it is ready, put a slice of the fat free cheese on top and fold the eggs to make the omelet. Egg whites are only 17 calories per egg, the fat free cheese is only 30 calories and the peppers and onions are minimal. Sometimes I leave one yoke in and skip the cheese.
