Well today at work, everyone must have decided to save whatever stressful news and thoughts they had for the week, and shared them today! So my staff who's working on my job quit (and his last day's Friday), the person I'm working for on my next job is insanely neurotic about everything... so just overall a stressful day... so when my DH and I got home at 7:30, we went for a 2.5K walk to burn off the stress... quite good idea actually, and I don't think I solved any of my problems on the walk, but I have a lot less energy to stress about it! LOL
It's odd (and I'm sure people who are further along in their journey to a healthy lifestyle already know, but) ... what's odd is that when I'm stressed I actually feel like working out! That never would have happened 6 months ago. 6 months ago, when I was stressed I wanted to sleep... it's a weird shift, but I'm really happy, because it really does add an additional reason to work out.

congrats on dealing with your stress in such a productive way. If I can learn to work out when i'm stressed it will be great...would easily increase my exercise by about 100%...hehe

I hope to take after you and get walking! Right now, I am in a nasty habit of napping for 2 hours after work. We get home at 4pm and I nap from 5pm-7pm. Craziness! You're doing great to work on your stress, something else I have issues doing. Well, I don't know how to handle it. Sounds like I need to start working out!

Tasha - I noticed that after I started exercising, I actually had more energy... I know... I remember thinking... 'that annoying thing that thin people always say, is actually true!' It sucks for a couple of weeks, but after you get through the first 2 weeks, it's TOTALLY worth it!
