Alright, Day 2 of my work out went really well. On Monday, I wasn't able to do 50 second wall sits, I only did about 25 seconds, yesterday, I did two sets of 50 seconds, and I felt accomplished after I did it.

This morning, on the other hand, boy is my body sore. I feel like an old woman. Everything hurts, but that's the price I have to pay since I haven't done a serious work out since August. My weight is up a few ounces, but since this isn't new, I know that the build up of water and latic acid in my muscles is what is causing the gain. So no worries here.

So, tomorrow I'm going to take a yoga class. Something I haven't done in a very long time. I'm bringing one of my co-workers with me, because she wants to try it. Friday, I am going to either roller skate, ice skate, or both. I may split my time between the two.

Yesterday was my and my boyfriend's 3 year anniversary. So I made a healthy tilapia dinner, with an avocado salsa type thing and it was delicious. (I totally got the recipe off the back of the frozen tilapia bag!)

I am also going to try to get a walk or two in this weekend. I read that if you take off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday every week for a month, it could equal up to either a 4.3 lb weight gain a month! So hopefully by not letting up slack, then I'll be able to hit my goal of 5 pounds by April 22.

In other news, I know I have to give up my Rice Chex in the morning. Too many carbs and the milk is setting me up for disaster, but I love them so much. I'm going to try to find a suitable substitute, but money is tight right now, so it's going to be a little hard. Plus, shelling out money for Nicotine patches is hard, too. Yes, I'm quitting smoking for hopefully the third and final time. So the working out will also combat the need to eat to fill the void left by cigarettes. I'm going to get some lollipops and gum to try and keep the calories low.

I guess not writing in a long time has really gotten me backed up. I'm going to try and not explode all in one journal, so I'll hopefully be back here tomorrow.

Hi Alli! That is great news that you are getting back into working out and quitting smoking! I wish I could stop making excuses and find the time. Congrats on your anniversary, the tilapia sounds delicious. I love avocados :) Have a great Wednesday!

I'm sure you will hit that 5 pound goal in no time. It's great that you know what changes you need to make to lose the weight, I'm starting to realise these things myself. Good luck quitting smoking! I'm doing the same. I take these Chantix pills, this will be my second time quitting. They work but it's hard to get in the car and not light up. We'll get through this though. It's tough but I just think of all the money I will be saving.
