Did my 9 mile run today. The farthest I have EVER run, woo hoo! Had an elevation gain of 1230 feet (that equals a lot of hills folks) and I did it! I ran with a friend that will be running the half marathon with me. On a side note there will only be a 100 feet gain when we do our half marathon. =) There is just not much flat places around here.
Interesting note a man who runs all the time says that you can run 4 times longer than you train for. Not sure I could have run 25 more miles today but something to think about.
On a fun note my Gram is 92 years old today. Can't wait to see her this afternoon and celebrate!
