Been taking care of my sick hubby all week, not COVID thankfully just a cold. Just as he was starting to feel better and I thought I was safe, I woke up with a sore throat yesterday.😑
Thankfully my only symptoms seem to be a sore throat coupled with a cough, no headache, fever or fatigue so far. Tried to be tough and hopped on my spin bike but had to stop almost immediately. As soon as my breathing quickened it exacerbated the cough. Looks like I need to pause my exercise for a day or two.
I didn't drink nearly enough water because after a while it hurt to swallow. Definitely need to up my water intake today, maybe I can try some tea with honey. I've had the woefully ignorant view that calories=food my entire life and never stopped to consider that medicine also has calories. Accordingly to FS a dose of DayQuil/Nyquil is 93cal, and sugar free cough drops are 5cal a piece. Wow, consider me enlightened. Pretty sure I ruined my entire fast. 😳 I'm dreading the scale later, but I'm determined that I won't let it ruin my motivation. It'll be okay.
