Happy Fourth of July!!!
Did my 5 mile fun run this morning. I came in at a time of 57 minutes. I feel really great about that since about half a mile of the course was probably a 15% grade and that is no exaggeration. I have decided I DO NOT like the trail to Teacher Rock. So we walked up it, because really I had to make the rest of the course. Of course coming down was a snap. Not sure what place I took but we got a fun t-shirt and helped out the local high school track. A great way to start the celebration. From there I went to a friends house to shower and then we walked the half mile to the parade route. This afternoon I went swimming at another friends house with my Mom who is up visiting from Phoenix.
Thinking I am going to sleep well tonight!! Our fireworks aren't until tomorrow night so hope everyone has a fabulous Friday evening!!
