I've been on Adkins phase 1 for five days, and I don't think I have ever eaten so much food in my life! And I am STILL struggling to get all my calories in. I did manage to get close today. I only missed by about 275 cals. Much better than the usual 600-700. The only drawback so far, being someone who doesn't get hungry, is the eating all day long. I know I have to do it to keep my body from going into starvation mode, but sometimes it is soooooo tempting to just Skip. Actually I did at one point, a few weeks ago and totally stalled out my metabolism. I paid the price for it too. I got stuck at 275 for 3 long weeks. That being said, you can bet I won't skip again, no matter how much I want to. Just keep shoveling! LOL!
