After 12 days of low fat and low calories ... very strong on the bike today. Don't remember ever being as strong, went up towards Mystras (3km) at 20km/h dropping to 16km/h on the steeper part on the MTB. I could feel the tires scrub on the pavement but there was just so much POWER.

Easier to work lungs and heart hard, higher cadences, ~20% more 5 min power starting the ride and ~30%!! more 5 min power at 1 hr. Again I could feel I'm working my heart and lungs hard but there was 1/3 the discomfort at the same level of exertion.

Insane ... taking into account I went on the ride at 8 pm and had just eaten 800 kcal until then ... 2X insane. A jump in performance so great means one thing, fat is toxic. You could be sick with the flue you wouldn't be 20% down.
