Another gorgeous day and 3.3 miles logged, 2.6 with doggies along. Very, very windy which is pretty unusual for here.
Have a few errands to take care of this afternoon over in the other nearby city where I get my hair cut, so I'll take care of them after my stylist works her magic.
I got the lawn done for its spring cleanup yesterday and have a nice pile of clippings and leaves set out for pickup next week. I normally leave the clippings on the lawn for environmental reasons since it's excellent fertilizer, but when I'm doing a cleanup, I bag it all. I'm watching the rain progress into our area so I can get that weed killer on at just the right time to get watered in. Hopefully, I'll get back home in time to trim some larger branches too, before the rain. Everything grows like crazy here, faster than I can keep it trimmed!!
As a side note, several weeks ago, I cautiously renewed my driver's license online (I had several concerns about doing this) and I'm pleased to report - it worked!! I'm good to go for the next several years!
