Another gorgeous day, but windy! But with temps in low 70's, I'll "make do" with the wind!

Walked 3.3 miles today; 2.6 with doggies. This is so normal for me now, it's my default exercise value, Monday thru Saturday.

I have a TON of stuff to do...lawn cutting, edging, raking, bush trimming, small tree trimming, redefining landscape beds, laundry, carpet spot cleaning, window cleaning, screen replacement, taxes, birthday gift wrapping and shipping, etc. Aye-yi-yi. Looks like I'll have to set aside some of the inside projects and get on with the outdoor things. Also need to schedule a haircut. There's a lot of outdoor work to be done and I'm always undecided on what to tackle first. Guess I just should go out and do one thing (at least) rather than worrying over whether it's the most important thing to do. That's what happens when I'm getting overwhelmed - I try to schedule out everything in perfect order and end up not getting anything done. And, while I'm at it, I'll eat as I procrastinate.

hey sandy get ya a dry erase board then write all the things down don't schedule them or put them in any certain order just a check list then look at the list and choose the one you think will be the easiest when it is done erase it then choose the next, and so on and so on! eventually they all get done but you wont feel over whelmed or like you are failing to do what you had planned!

Wow that is a busy day. I would do the mowing, then the weed whacking, then the trimming of the limbs, the redifining of the flower beds, the raking, then the windows, then the screens...that way you don't get grass clippings on your clean windows, and you aren't retracing your steps, (like if you mow then rake, then trim, you have to rake again) and then do the inside stuff on a not so nice day! Just a thought! lol Hope you had a productive day!

Thanks for the tip, Laura. But I think I'd need a dry erase WALL...LOL!!! But I do like the idea of a list that I get to keep checking off. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you're having a better day today.

Well Stef, I got as far as the mowing... LOL! Actually, that was quite a bit, as I had to use the bagger for those pesky little live oak leaves that do NOT mulch! The only way to get them up and prevent them from getting all matted down and smothering the grass is to use some type of vacuum (which I do not have) or try to get the mower to pick them up into its bag - which I did. Now, I'm ready to watch for the rain tomorrow or Sat. so I can put down the weed killer and let Mother Nature "water it in thoroughly." With any luck, I might tackle the limb trimming and windows tomorrow and see how far I get between walking and my haircut; all depends on the rain. Have a wonderful Friday!
