I went bike riding yesterday. Haven't done much bike riding outdoors lately because it's been hot and when I do, I wind up at Starbucks or Kroger, eating and drinking. One cancels out the other - LOL. So I've been using my cheapo stationary bike while watching an hour or two of television in the evening. I can't believe I'm burning 431 calories an hour, as one site claims, because you can't set the resistance on the bike very high.
Went to Starbucks, the first time in quite a while, so of course I overdid it and skated close to the calorie edge if not over it: a venti caramel frappucino, an egg salad sandwich, a berry bloom croissant, and an Izze soda.
