As of yesterday, I'm back to my long-ish walks, just like ye olde days.
Last night I went on a 47:47 (MM:SS) long walk, and tonight I did the same walk in 48:22. I walked as fast as I could without overdoing it, so, like last night, it wasn't a casual stroll. I'm confident that this will see the lbs vanish in due course, just like it did in the past.
It's funny, because last night, when I got home from the walk, I weighed myself and had lost 1/8th of a stone! Must have shed a lot of water. Lol
Also, in yesterday's walk, I actually jogged a little bit, three times. I was fair knackered, but at least I gave it a go! It's a tad soon though, to be doing that, and my joints weren't too happy, nor is my back today.
I didn't time myself jogging, sadly. I'd hazard a guess that I jogged for about 10-15 seconds the first time I tried, which is pretty piss-poor compared to my old record of I think 2 minutes or something, but given my current fitness level, it's not too bad. I could push myself to jog for longer, but it would really punish my joints, as I'm simply far too heavy for that.
