It's been almost a week since I started and I think things are going pretty well. Have exercised more and watching what I am eating. I haven't weighed myself yet, It gives me anxiety and I just can't bring myself to step on the scale. Ugg!

Once a week, Sunday morning maybe, is less stressing. 🤔

Super common. But try to adopt the following mindset: losing weight is an outcome, not the actual goal. The actual goal is to develp healthy sustainable eating habits. The up and down, elation and frustration we’ve all been through is caused by using the scale to determine whether it was a good week or bad week, even though the scale measures all kinds of things completely unrelated to fat loss. You sound like you had a good week with good behaviours, so that sounds like total success to me. You keep repeating that week and evaluate your weight monthly (to calibrate how much to eat) and the anxiety that the scale causes starts to go down, and fat loss goes up. I’ll weigh myself weekly for tension and accountability, but I don’t use the scale to decide if it was a good week.
