Well, we finished our Phase 1 (thankfully), and have started Phase 2. I lost 10 pounds the first 2 weeks, my husband lost 9. We are following phase 2 almost as if it were phase 1. We rarely eat breads & fruit, but we had 2 parties to go to this week, one with birthday cake and one with pizza. We both indulged, but not as much as we normally would have before the diet. We figure, that is okay every once in a while since we are following phase 2 pretty strictly otherwise. Hopefully in 2 weeks we'll have lost a few more pounds.
