Well, I am back after falling of both the wagon and the chuck wagon. I had a horrible experience a couple of weeks ago with a sheep of all things. My dog spooked a sheep that was tethered and it fell down an incline. When I got near to see what the fuss was about, the poor thing was hanging by it's neck on a bit of a hill. I just freaked. It was making this horrible wheezing, gasping noise. When I realised what was happening, I just went into complete react mode. Couldn't get the sheep up from behind. Couldn't untie the knot. By the time I went for help, it would be dead. Talk about a panic. I managed to move it inches by getting behind it and shoving up hill. Sweating buckets. This gave it breathing space. Literally. Then I remembered how farmers move sheep on the TV. It came to me out of the blue. So I grabbed its fleece and yanked. Nothing. One more go, I yanked with all my might. I swear the sheep got the idea and gave me a hand. My dog just stood there silent. The other sheep came over and just stood looking at me. I couldn't move. When I got my breath back I was so relieved to see that the sheep was ok. But I still couldn't move for ages. It was so horrible to see that the sheep was dying right in front of me and that it was my fault. Looking at death is just awful.
I was in shock for ages. Days. Then a friend came from Ankara and I had to look after her as her boyfriend had dumped her for another woman. All very negative stuff and I'm sure I have used it as an excuse to sabotage my success.
So when you fall off any wagon, you just got to get back on again! I must say that I have missed the routine and control of having the fatsecret stuff in my life. Oh yes, our poxy internet was down for over a week also. Challenges .............surrounded by challenges
