Totally forgot - monthly birthday celebration this afternoon in the breakroom. Normally I skip these but this month they're celebrating march birthdays (and my bday was march 5) so they'll call me in to attend. I will say I'm busy so I won't have to attend and I can almost guarantee someone will bring me the piece of cake, pie, cupcake...whatever today's treat is. I can give up pretty much anything except cheesecake - then what?! Ugh! I think I'll accept the offering and proceed to dump it into my trash. I weigh in Friday and want good results. I am full from lunch so don't need it. One hour til party - let's hope my determination doesn't go away. I know I could indulge in one thing, but at this point in my weight loss I don't trust myself and don't even want to go there.
There - I've now put it in writing so will report back tonight with results. 😁

Best of luck in avoiding the dessert kiki! Like you I know that it wont hurt me, but when im on a roll I want to maintain the momentum. Regardless of how this pans out know that you are way more than one piece of cake! :-) Happy belated birthday

Thanks, Yolanda. You got it exactly - on a roll so don't feel like I need this extra temptation right now. And, I didn't eat a thing! Get this - they had cake, pie AND cheesecake! Looked like from a grocery store, not a bakery so that made it less appetizing. Not a single crumb went into my mouth. Yay me!
