Sometimes dieting or eating healthy is about saying to yourself “can I hold on till I get off work to get more food?” “ can I wait it out and get a snack in a couple hours?”
I had soup for lunch and want more. Like to a point where I thought about ordering a sandwich from jimmy johns. But I know I can wait a few hours till this afternoon for a snack after work. Normally I’d make a snap decision and just get the food and regret it later but... I’m tired of hating myself and wishing for better outcomes. I’m trying to hold myself accountable instead of giving myself an excuse every time I mess up.

I keep almonds at my desk in case I get hungry. Most of the time I don’t think about them, but today’s lunch was under 200 calories. Today I had 6, thankfully they were there for me.
