Mleahy using a wrap for a pizza base cuts a lot of the calories to start off. I’m at the point now where I’m not a huge fan of pizza made with chunky bases because I feel like I can appreciate the flavour of the toppings more without all the bread.
Another good way to have pizza without all the bread is ‘pizza soup’. It’s a tomato based soup with anything you would normally have as a pizza topping chopped up inside and topped with a bit of melted cheese. 🤤 It’s really yummy!

Tashaann, I can tell you what kind of changes I made to lose the bulk of the weight but please don’t think I’m any kind of expert. I’ve been trying to get down to 140 again for ages (I had made it below that for a time but am now on thyroid medication which makes weight loss difficult) and am basically hopping between 143/145 and not getting anywhere near 140 again.
When I started off I found a book that helped me calculate how many calories I should ingest in a day to encourage weight loss. For me it was low at between 1200 and 1300 kcal because at the time I wasn’t moving around a lot. I had to balance that with how many kcals I burned in a day trying to make sure I always burned more than I ingested. I also tried to keep my fat intake at around 20-30 rather than 40 or above.

I quickly realised that I could eat loads of veggies and have chicken/ turkey which are lower in calories and fat- depending on how they are cooked. Beef, pork etc I kept to a smaller amount as they are fattier. All that meant I could stuff myself at meals and then not have the urge to snack.
I can’t have proper dairy which is high in kcals anyway so that helped, I guess. I have a bit of the plant-based alternatives every now and again if I want cheese, cream, chocolate milk or ice cream.
I think the biggest thing for me was that I love sweets and when I first started out I planned my meals in advance around a serving of sweets so that I made sure I still got some of what I liked and therefore didn’t get discouraged or feel like I was missing out and therefore give up.
I guess to sum up, my main tips would be: plan ahead for the day: stick to the plan: stick to the recommendations for serving sizes and fill up on veggies. I hope that helps?

Tashaann, I’m very sorry. I don’t know what I would have done to have been perceived rude. You asked for tips and I told you what I had done- pointing out that I’m no expert, which I am not. My apologies for upsetting you.
If the issue was laughing at Wiggy’s joke, admittedly I found it quite funny. Again, apologies for causing offence- it was unintended. I find humour cathartic and since losing weight can be stressful I find it helps to approach it, and everything else, with good humour. I hope you can forgive me for any offence caused and that you have a good day.
