Day 1 of protein diet...so far so good. I had brunch with some girlfriends, which was a little hard but not bad...I enjoyed my protein shake and some celery, they had quiche and cornbread and fresh fruit. The hardest part about this protein thing is I'm not allowed fruit, because of the carbs :( That is why I'm only doing it for a week to jump start, I can't give my fruit up. Chocolate...it can go, but not my fruit. I've also upped my exercise from 1 mile a day to 2 miles...I'm trying to up my speed from an average of 4mph to 5mph on the treadmill...but my body is so out of it...I haven't jogged in forever...so it is a slow process. I also hope to incorporate some weights back in along with my 8 mins abs which I will do in a bit. Hopefully by March I will be back to Jogging 3 to 4 miles a day and totally back into my weight routine :) Wish me luck!!
