What did I learn yesterday? I do okay until dinner and if I am down need to stay busy. The house doesn't clean itself and my weight doesn't go away w/o effort. Cleaning the house atleast I can see it happening but my 80-100lbs is going to take forever. Sad part is I have lost it 4 times before in my 36 years but here I am again. At 235 my weight was at its highest of my life and my will is at its lowest.

2011 is a new year and a new start. I haven't had any deep fried foods. At McD's had a side salad instead of my beloved fries. I lived. Eating baked pita chips with dip instead of the potato chips. Wait fries and potato chips gone and I lived. Maybe I can do this. Normally I just in and restrict myself to 600 calories and walk all day. Sure I lose weight but leaves me weak and miserable.

OK enough for now. Happy day 5 :)

Hi honey, great insight! 600 calories though, thats not enough to fuel your body! Your metabolism slows down, and you feel tired, don't sleep well, and the result or one of them is weight gain. You need to eat more for sure. I'm so proud of you for the baby steps, the changes that you are slowly making that can and will last for a lifetime. the quick fixes r only always temporary, I think we need to make changes that we can live with for a lifetime! I certainly need to work harder but I am not setting unrealistic expectations, at the same time I have to stop making excuses. It's a balance for sure... Love ya girl!
