I've been taking pictures every week on the same day, front and profile in similar clothing. It seems tedious, but it is a real motivation booster. I've lost 17 lbs or so since the 1st of Jan. and can really see the difference week to week. You just don't see it when you look in the mirror daily, even when you can see the scale moving. It really is amazing to see what difference a week makes in the way you look. It has really helped me to stay on track, because the pictures reinforce what the scale is telling me. This is also incredibly helpful if you begin building muscle mass. Your weight tends to stall and it is frusterating, but the pictures allow you to see that even though you are weighing in the same, you are looking better and that's what really matters.
