Busy start to my day. I literally had just enough time to eat and run out the house this morning. I was going to do a weigh-in but I think I will delay it a couple of days. Why? TOM - enough said!

Still feeling good and motivated. I love this site that keeps me on top of my food and the buddies I have. It's making a big difference for me. I may be taking a business trip to Switzerland at the end of November. It will be the true test for me ... the confiserie with all the wonderful pastries, swiss chocolates, fondue :-o. I will simply have to avoid altogether. There are two confiseries very close to the hotel where I normally stay and I have to walk by them to get to the office. I wish I had a way to float over them and get to my destination. On the other hand, there are lots of other choices to help keep me on my low carb eating. If I have to go, it will be hard to avoid the temptations but I am determined to stay on track.

Oh my goodness...im totally jealous!!!!!! Switzerland...neat! I used to travel around alot....miss those days.....sigh....lol...anyway, might I recommend a reward for not visiting those lovely shops. Maybe a new pair of shoes or a Switzerland spa day or ????? Whatever appeals too you lady.

I've been travelling like this for the last 16 years (all over the globe). Switzerland is where the head office for my company is located. I fly from Toronto to Geneva. I have to admit that since I had children it's harder when I travel, especially if I am away for more than one week. My kids hate it, especially the eldest. I love your reward idea .. .it's going to be shoes. Shoes are my passion. I have over 150 pairs of shoes/boots/sandals. :-o The great thing is that when you lose weight, they still fit .. hehehehehehehehe!

I have a friend I run with, she's into shoes as well. Me I wear toe shoes (VFF's). My wife's always going on I have too many. I just have to have all the different styles! And for your trip if it was me I would plan a few days ahead, allow indulgence on the trip then have your plan for the days when you get back. That way you can indulge while you're there and feel good when you get back.

hehehehe .... I like the way you think! Indulge a little and restrain myself when I get back (and still get the shoes ....LOL). I do a lot of walking when I go to Switzerland and Australia (it's so easy to walk to everything), so that may help (depending on the weather).
