As a frequent sinus headache sufferer I can say that the Advil Sinus med works well for when you're congested but not able to blow anything out. Also, here are a few tricks iI learned...taking a HOT shower w/doors closed to generate steam helps, holding your face under the hot water as long as you can at intervals.If you can't do the shower thing, take your middle finge, put it on either side of your nose at the corners of your eyes, then with as much pressure as you can stand run your fingers down the sides of your nose and out under your cheeks to your ears. If you want more pressure than your fingers will give, I sometimes bend my thumb and use the knuckle at the base of my thumb. It helps with the pain and the swelling...plus knocks tthings loose. Also, eating a bowl of soup or drinking a cup of hot coffee or tea and breathing the steam helps too. I am prone to sinus headaches when the weather changes to rain...iI've picked up a lot of tricks...lol. But if the sinus headache leaves & the roof of your mouth where the indentations on either side of the ridge are hurts for a day or more, you might have gotten a sinus infection from your cold.

Thanks guys! I hadn't tried the pressure under my cheeks thing. I think I will try that one. I am feeling better and sounding better today. =)
