Another gain, albeit a very small one. I need to start watching what I eat, but I know I won't (and I don't) feel like it. I made some really good-tasting matcha green tea ice cream with BochaSweet. It is a really expensive low-carb and low-calorie sweetener with pentose, but it tastes pretty much like sugar and does not have the unpleasant cooling effect of erythritol. I also made some low-carb fudge. So maybe consuming two homemade desserts during the week was not the best idea.

Blood pressure news: it is getting better! My BP was lower this week, especially my systolic (between 123 and 135). I ordered a new BP monitor a while ago and I just received it this week! I like having two monitors, except that I like the new one better. It takes a measurement much faster than the old one, which is less stressful for me. However, my diastolic has been kind of high (85 to 91), especially since I started using the new monitor. And maybe the PreCardix supplement actually works! I was thinking of ditching it, but it has not been 8 weeks yet. Now I have got a reason to keep taking it. If they don't call me before I do, I will give a call to my doctor's office for an appointment for next month or around that time.

Nice day today! It is supposed to be nice tomorrow, but not so much on Monday, which is a holiday. Unfortunately I am supposed to work on Monday despite the holiday. However, with the upcoming rain, I don't really have a problem with this, plus I am working from home.
