Good news....the rain that was forecast to make today a complete washout looks like it's staying offshore, so we only have clouds. Yay! Still a 9 on the UGH Index, but very do-able for walking the full 3.1 miles (doggies along for 1.5 miles).
I ran into my "So-you-must-be-what...in-your-60's?" neighbor. He motioned me over and we chatted about his new roof. He brought up age again and said that with all my walking, I looked like I was in my, maybe 30's or 40's. I kidded him that I liked that a whole lot better than the other day. It turns out he told his wife what he said to me the other day and she said, "You said WHAT????!!!!" LOL!!! Apparently, she took him to task about giving a woman a legitimate guess on her age; as in....you DON'T! So, we had a nice chuckle about the whole thing.
A trip to the grocery store might be on the agenda today. I typically don't go on Fridays, but we've got a jumbled schedule this weekend, as well as DH working on Monday, so this might be the best opportunity. Now that the rain might hold off, I think I'll plan on going.
BTW.....the noon meteorologist just said that our weekend might be a bit "wetter than usual." Is he kidding??? Last weekend was a washout....so what's wetter than that? LOL!
