Bit of a brave post for me, scary but hopefully no body I know will see it! This will hopefully help me to be accountable!

You dont look gross, you just have a little tommy and you need to get rid of it because the rest of the body is ok, I recommend this app for abs exercises, it's free and I use it and it works 'loose belly fat - 30 days' good luck and stay focused!

Good for you to step up and loads of encouragement from us so check in whenever you feel challenges to sabotage your goals. And remember don’t beat yourself up , recognise these challenges and keep going despite any hiccups 👍

be kind to yourself and accept what you see in the mirror right now. you are not gross! You can love yourself enough to make the changes you want to see. Don't bully yourself into doing it. Change will come easier when you tell yourself you deserve better! you've got this 💪.

Wow thank you Everyone! You all Made me feel loads better and even more determined! I did half an hour of yoga this morning as well (shock horror) I’ve stuck to my calories and even walked into town and back today! So off to a great start! I am definitely one hundred percent going to do this so fed up being a roly poly! My biggest downfalls have got to be chocolate and pastries , yep that is why I have such a belly because I eat way too many, way way too many of everything! In the past I’ve also followed fad diets, but I have a dodgy gallbladder now so going for the low fat, decent calories approach! I also lose motivation when doing things by myself (which has been great during this covid 19 lock down as you can imagine). So thought all you guys can help to spur me along. Watch this space ...

Yes. ditch the fad diets. You have to work out what is sustainable long term for you. If that is low fat/calorie counting then go for it. That is what works for me funnily enough. I am a fiend for chocolate also. The only way I can avoid it is not to buy it. Good luck

I have gone from 12 stone to 10 stone 10 pounds in 3 months by trying to stick to 1200 calories a day Have to confess that half of that is red wine each day and the rest divided between 2 meals Got COPD so 30 minute walk a day is all I can manage Don’t know how to get my journal on here but wanted to offer encouragement xx
