Another successful week on the Christmas Challenge! But to drop another 3 pounds in the next 2 weeks will be difficult.

It was all cloudy with rain this AM, so no walk. But just after church, it was "only" in the mid-80's and cloudy, so I opted to go for a walk then. The humidity was typical, which is to say, awful. But I did all the loops which amounts to 3.1 miles. Had to subtract a tenth because my dogs were with me on the first part of the walk and we had to avoid other dogs, so we couldn't quite go to the end of that street. I don't think I'll be doing 3 miles on a daily basis, but I've come a long way from trudging along the 1.5 mile route, maybe 3x/week initially.

Funny thing....I was really tired after church and wanted to just come home, stretch out and take a nap (it WAS a dreary day, after all). That walk woke me up, and even though I was physically tired afterward, I had no inclination to take a nap the rest of the day. I never would have thought that would happen if I hadn't experienced it myself.
