Last week I was strong and didn't give in to my Chinese food cravings. Not true today. I went to Winco for groceries, an hour away. I picked up my favorite Chinese lunch - sesame chicken and fried rice. But I did plan it. I figured now that I am posting my weight on Sundays that if I want to eat off-plan then today was the best time to do it. Have til Sunday until my weigh in. I put about 1/3 of it on a smaller plate and didn't eat all of that. I probably won't eat the rest of the chicken - it isn't good cold or re heated. But the rice, I love it! May have some tomorrow, who knows, I may eventually throw it out as well.

Thanks all! I also mindlessly ate the 2 fortune cookies that were in the bag and I bought soda at the grocery store a 2 liter bottle of Squirt. And I've already had 12 oz of that. But hopefully, I'm done for the day. I logged everything, although I have no idea of the actual calories, etc for the meal. Lincoln Chinese Restaurant isn't well known (except in Lincoln) enough to be in any database.

Ohhh. My kids get so stunned! Well, they are used to it now. We have a big party here and I dump all the left over pop! As in pour any opened bottles down the drain before their eyes! We just get the stuff on a good sale, but I don't want the stuff around for them or me! 😁 I'm all for eating fortune cookies!! Yum!

Melissa - I don't know what made me buy the soda. I've been so good. But I also can't resist a good deal. It was $.99 for a 2 liter bottle. Glad I only bought one. I use to drink close to 1 full 2 liter bottle a day. I'm starting to feel hungry again. I felt stuffed after just eating a portion of the Chinese food. Is it Chinese food that they always say you're hungry an hour after eating it? So I made a cup of tea. Hope that makes me feel full.

Yep, I do think it is Chinese food that they say doesn't stick with ya! Well, you are doing well to have had just the 12 oz of pop! 😁 99 cent pop is just rotten tempting! I'd like some root beer right now with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream!
