Bright, sunny, WARMER day, but no exercise walking for me today.
Instead, I'm taking advantage of a consignment shop still accepting women's apparel and taking some items in. This shop keeps a close watch on their inventory levels in various categories, as they've got limited space. That's a good idea, but every week, they put out a list of things they will not accept that week. It seems like ever since I set up an account with them last fall, women's clothing has been on the list of what they weren't accepting (due to the inventory levels of clothing they already had).
After doing some consigning - also found out 1 of my items from last week already sold, YAY! - I headed off to the gym for an elliptical routine. Because of our roller-coaster weather, 1 workout area was nice and comfortably cool but the other area felt like the heat was on! You can guess where I wanted to be, but where I ended up - LOL!
Luckily, I had shorts on.
I've got a bit more running around to do, but I'll postpone that until the oven finishes its cleaning cycle. Seems like there's never a good time to do that chore, but I can open the windows today and take advantage of the sun to clean the racks outside.
Heads up everyone....tomorrow's FRIDAY!!

I would be jumping for joy for it to be Friday...but we are to get up to 4 inches of the dreaded snow..such a dirty word...I would be heading for the warmer side of the gym..LOL..Awesome you sold one of your garments...hope you can sell it all...Have a great day...:O)

I saw that great big ol' weather system heading your way. Hope you get the cows set up for feeding before it hits. Be sure you've got those fuzzy socks handy!

Oh Sandy...I have fuzzy socks..cuddle Duds..you name it I have it on..
found me a hat with ear flaps..it really helps keep my hair out of my face..LOL..WE have to feed Friday...UGH...:O)

Snowed here last night. On the upside maybe that means we can go tubing this weekend...that is fun!

You sound like you are in a much better mood than last journal. Glad you got that oven cleaned - I worry leaving the house when it is on that cycle and hate staying home waiting for it to finish. Still better than doing it the old fashioned way.

As you know Jaime, tubing around here is an entirely different sport! We have some friends who live in Washington and they LOVE the weather....of course, their first pick for retirement was Alaska!

Buffy, I am in a better mood. Getting back into the thrift shop volunteering yesterday really helped. It sounds odd, I know, but I'd go there every day to work, if I could afford the time. I too, won't leave the house with the oven cleaning....or the dryer running, either. What still gets me is the cleaning of the stovetop grates and cleaning the inside of the oven door (glass)...all quite yucky and needing FAR too much effort!

I agree, you do seem to be in a better mood & that is great to hear, & I know how that helps to deal with ALL of lifes quirky "fun"! With such a background as you have in retail, no wonder you enjoy your time there. Just an evil thought, if they are overstocked on womens clothing, I would be buying to make room for my "donation", or yeah, may as well just call it what it is, Trade! LOL, that's just me though. Seems like you have WAY more self control than I have, I just know stuff would be sneaking home with me on a regular basis!

Glad that your items are moving quickly. Hope that the workout wasn't too bad. As for the oven cleaning...it is a hot and stinky job, but man the oven looks great for at least a day or so! lol Have a great weekend!
