Well, the weight went back down a bit today, still not back to where it was 2 days ago (184.6), but closer. I know I shouldn't weigh everyday, but it helps me analyze the fine points. The artificial sweeteners definitely seem to affect me. I need to try and cut them out altogether and see if that helps.

I am thinking I may need to stay on induction longer. I want to get at least 10 lbs off before I transition to OWL. I might, however, add a limited amout of nuts (I miss my almonds). I have been having an alcoholic drink now and again even in induction (doesn't seem to be a major player in the daily weights--I gained after a day with none). I could live with that kind of diet for a while!

You are wrestling with the same two issues I have in Induction! Almonds and alcohol. I have a glass of wine every now and again. Doesn't seem to affect me but I am sure it does for some folks. Seems like if I can have a nice dry red, dieting is just a little more tolerable and I don't crave the sweets then. Keep it up!
