A friend of ours gave us a bunch of walnuts a couple of months ago. I have been letting them dry. So last night I decided I was going to start cracking them so I could dry can them and put them in my pantry. Some were easy and some were hard to crack, that is until I broke the nutcracker. haha. I'd like to say I didn't know my own strength but I think it really was more the cheap nutcracker. When we were in town today I forgot to look for a new one. However the small amount of walnuts I did crack made for a good arm exercise. Well this excercise will be continued another day.
